This year, the Ukrainian State Institute of Cultural Heritage, together with the Ukrainian Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments, is holding an All-Ukrainian competition of creative works "Preserve the Heritage - Save Ukraine."
The purpose of the competition is to interest children in cultural heritage monuments, to encourage them to study the history and origin of monuments.<The competition will be held from November 15, 2019 to December 19, 2019 in the following nominations:
- Drawing of a monument (size not less than A-4);
- Artistic embroidery that reflects the monument;
- Small sculpture made of clay, straw, willow rod, textiles, wood (height and width not more than 50 cm).
The competition accepts works made only by the participant personally. One participant has the right to submit no more than 2 works.
Persons wishing to participate in the Contest should send an Application, a photo of the monument and their creative works (volumetric works - in several angles, planar works - in one angle) to the e-mail address ukrtopik1966@gmail.com by November 21, 2019.
Members of the Organizing Committee select works based on the submitted materials for participation in the Contest. The authors of the works are notified of the selection results by e-mail, from which the works were received in electronic form, no later than November 26, 2019.
By December 12, 2019, the participants who received the notification should send the originals of their creative works by Nova Poshta to the branch No. 31 or personally bring them to the address: 01015, Ukraine, Kyiv, 9 Lavrska St., building 19, NGO "Ukrainian Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments". The creative work is accompanied by a label containing the following information: name of the monument, dimensions, technique, nomination; surname, name and age (date of birth of the author); name of the school, district, region; surname, name, patronymic and position of the work supervisor (teacher, lecturer, master, etc.The label is securely attached to the front side of the work.
From December 12 to 19, 2019, an exhibition of selected and presented creative works is being organized in the exhibition hall of the Pechersk Gallery of the NGO "Ukrainian Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments" at the address: 01015, Ukraine, Kyiv, 9 Lavrska St., building 19.
Summing up the results of the Contest, opening of the exhibition of the presented works and awarding the participants with Diplomas and teachers who helped in the preparation of works with Certificates of Appreciation will take place on St. Nicholas Day, December 19, 2019 at 12:00 at the address: Kyiv, 9 Lavrska St., building 19.
