According to the thematic plan for 2021 approved by the ICIP, UDIKS is working on the preparation of an edition of the Atlas of Ancient Building Materials and Technologies of Architectural and Archaeological Monuments in Ukraine.

The basis for the development of the Atlas is the collection of petrographic grinds, a unique collection and source of information about historical building technologies, which is the result of many years of systematic work by Ukrainian restorers: Scientific and restoration units and the Research Laboratory of the Ukrainian Special Scientific and Restoration Administration (USSRRA) since 1970, then since 1981 - the Institute "Ukrproektrestavratsiya", then since 1994 - the newly created State Scientific and Technological Center SSTC "Constellation".
