The Ukrainian State Institute of Cultural Heritage is saddened to announce the untimely death of Heorhiy Samuilovych Dukhovychnyi, Ukrainian architect, vice president of the Kyiv organization of the National Union of Architects of Ukraine, laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in Architecture, and full member of the Ukrainian ICOMOS Committee. This loss is heavy and irreparable. Georgy Samuilovich's human qualities, such as his irrepressible vitality, activity, and determination, were an example for us. His entire life was characterized by endless devotion to his chosen cause and his good memory will forever remain in the hearts of his colleagues and friends.
