Structure of the publication "Atlas of Ancient Building Materials"
Introduction – general characteristics of the composition of ancient mortars.
Since the 70s of the twentieth century, Ukraine has begun to study ancient mortars on architectural monuments of the Kievan Rus period of the tenth and thirteenth centuries. The original composition of ancient mortars and the peculiarities of their manufacturing technology have been determined. Later, this proved to be an auxiliary factor (sign) for determining the date of construction of monuments of this historical period.
An Atlas of Ancient Building Materials is planned to be published, which will include informative sections on the peculiarities of the technology of preparing mortars in buildings and structures from different regions and different historical periods in Ukraine.
Features of the composition of mortars in the historical aspect - the ancient Greek, Roman and Byzantine periods and their influence on the development of construction technology in the territory of Kievan Rus.
І section.
Architectural monuments of Kievan Rus of the 10th - 13th centuries.
- Architectural monuments of Ancient Kyiv of the 10th - 13th centuries.
- Architectural monuments on the territory of Kievan Rus in the 10th - 13th centuries.

Architectural monuments 14th – 18th centuries on the territory of Ukraine.
- Architectural monuments of the Eastern region of Ukraine - Kyiv, Chernihiv, etc.
- Architectural monuments of the western region of Ukraine - Podillia, Volyn, Transcarpathia
- Architectural monuments of the Southern region of Ukraine - Crimean and Odesa regions.
ІІІ section.
Architectural monuments 19th - 20th centuries on the territory of Ukraine.
The peculiarities of the composition of mortars will be presented on the example of individual architectural monuments of different regions in Ukraine from ancient times to the present day according to the list (see table).
